Well, everyone else was on Spring Break.   We had our cousins here, the weather was beautiful, and there is a pool in the backyard.   So, we decided to not go to school and swim instead.

Happy Spring Break!

Uncle Shrek and Uncle Bryan were the lifeguards.   Good job, guys!

 One, Two Three.....

What a wonderful Tuesday it was!

Anthem

On Sunday's we load up in the car and drive about 30 minutes to a place called Anthem.   We file into the church pews for an hour and then head out into the beautiful sunshine where we head over to the park.   There is a Farmer's Market, a train, and some fishing ponds.   It's the perfect place to take the kids.

We knew the girls would love it while they were here visiting.   We had so many things to show them.   But, first.....we all had to have a Popsicle at the Farmer's Market.

Everyone got to choose their own flavor.

And we played the island drum.

We rode on a carousel.

And, finally the train.

It was a beautiful afternoon in Anthem and we loved showing our cousins all the fun things to do.

Pool Party when you turn 12

Turning 12 years old means you get to have a pool party.

So Uncle Shrek fired up the grill and we got a little wet.

Happy Birthday, Amaya!

Matching suits.   So cute!

My favorite pic.  Everyone in the pool!

The big kids made their own diving board.

Time to get out and cuddle up next to the fire!

It was a fun night!

Walks

When Megan was here we did simple things.   We took walks and smelled the flowers.

We ran down the street while eating our apples.

And laughing hysterically.

We stopped to pose for the camera.  Addie is such a diva and Eli....well Eli is in full boy pose.   Those littles just kill me!

And when we weren't posing we were singing to Grace.

Owie came along and had to ride his bike.

And we stopped when we saw something unusual and amazing.    Megan didn't want to get to close but, I had to get a picture.

Remembering these simple moments that we spent together helps ease the time until we get to be together next time.  Cherishing these times even a little more as we look back on them.

A whole week

My sister got to come visit!   It was so fun to have her here with me.   One whole week.   We enjoyed every minute.

The littles couldn't stop giving each other hugs.

And, Amaya couldn't stop holding Grace.

After hugging and holding and sending the boys off to school we loaded the little ones in the bike trailer and headed out for a bike ride.

We were headed to the waterfall at the entrance of our community and along the way is a park.   We just had to stop and play!

And pose for some pictures.

My beautiful girls!

Destination waterfall.     We made it!

What a great morning.   Perfect day in the beautiful Arizona sun.
