Fish Hatchery

One of our favorite places is the fish hatchery in Spearfish.    I remember when Gabe and Owen were little we would stand for hours throwing the handfulls of fish food that Great Gramps bought us to those huge trout.     The boys loved to watch the fish.

Grace and Eli are equally excited about spending time watching the fish.   The day was cold but it didn't matter.   We bundled up.

Little Gracie especially liked feeding the ducks.   She kept yelling "Birds, Birds"

Hunting

The boys love to hunt.   They look forward to it all year long.   Gabe was especially looking forward to it this year.   He was bound and determined to get his first buck.   He only had one goal in his mind.     I would say it was a very fruitful year!

Eli also loved hunting this year.   His gramps took him out every afternoon and he got to spend time with everyone.

A girls lunch

The boys were in Spearfish hunting so the girls got a chance to spend the whole day together.    First on the agenda, was lunch at the Rib and Chop then we headed out to Clearmont to check out Nelgie's antique shop.

I love this picture of my two favorite ladies.    I love when we can get together and spend time.  I love that I can capture the moment so that I can remember and look back.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

What a special day!

Dance Party at Grandmas

When we are all together our lives are more complete.   The distance makes our hearts grow fonder and makes these little moments become so much more cherished.    The love we have for each other is not something that can be hindered by 3,000 miles.

After playing inside most of the afternoon, Grandma announced it was time to get ourselves outside.   If there is one thing that Grandma loves it is being outside.   Her two favorite things in the whole world are her grandkids and being outside so when she can get both.....she is in heaven and we loved playing in the snow!

Wyoming Birthday

We couldn't go all the way to Wyoming and not celebrate Eli's birthday.   This 5 year old is pretty lucky.   He gets two birthday parties.

He loved his cake.   Grammy has a friend in Buffalo that makes him a cake every year.   So cool!

I do wonder about Eli's wish.    Such a sweet little boy who is stuck in the middle between two older brothers and a little sister.  There is so much of him that wants to be big like his brothers and yet he still wants to be the littlest also.

We had a spider man attend the party.    She shot her webs and then decided it was enough.  Wrapped up in her "Butty" with her Grammy.   Pretty special.

Happy Birthday, Eli.  We love you!

Our favoirte time

November is everyone's favorite month.   We look forward to this month all year long.   It's the time we get to board an airplane and head back to Wyoming to spend a whole week with our family.   It's the time the boys get to gather all their hunting clothes together and spend all day outside hunting and being together.

Flying was much easier this year.   A little movie and Daddy's headphones.   We had it made.

We landed in Billings and were so happy to be surrounded by "cuzies".    Lunch at Red Robin was the best!

We all piled into the "money pit" for the long ride home.    Gabe, Owen, and Amaya sat at the little table drawing and coloring while the little kids sat on the couches and played with toys.   It's the best way to travel with 10 people!

First thing we saw at Grandma's was the turkeys.   The boys were so excited!   And we loved hanging out at Grandma's house for a few days before we headed to Spearfish!
