October 2nd. I find myself sitting down at my computer to look through summer pictures. Better late then never....however, I really hate that I am so far behind in my blogging.
These summer memories are so important. Etched on my heart. Not to be forgotten.

Kendrick park in the heat of July. Where a cool rivers calls to us. 6 kiddos with their nets and pails and a mama who longs for a few hours of playtime. There is no better place.
You absolutely must bring your fishing net. There are fish in that river and if you are fast enough, you will catch them.
Owen was so focused on catching fish. I have never seen anyone concentrate so much on something. And, of course he caught the most fish.
The hours glide by and no one ever wants to leave. Not even to get ice cream. So engrossed in play.
We couldn't forget our click clack shoes. Even on the rocks, they are a necessity. And, putting our crocs on the wrong feet is also OK. They still do the job.
After several hours, I finally bribe them with a scoop of icecream and we head across the bridge to the icecream stand.
The perfect end to a hot Wyoming day.
