A busy school day

The days go like a flash.   I wake early.  Early for a workout and to get a little time to myself before everyone else gets out of bed.

The boys are out of the door by 7:30.  Eli and Grace, and I get to spend the whole morning together.   I cherish this time with them because I know how fast everything changes.   These hours in the morning are precious time.

On this day we met up with some friends for a little nature hike.   We actually tried to walk but, mostly just talked and tried to wrangle all the kiddos.   It was a beautiful morning and the kids had such a great time trying to spot lizards and mountain lions.  We did assure them that there were no mountain lions but, they didn't believe us.

After our morning outside we headed inside for some mac and cheese and a puzzle.   It was nothing short of a miracle that Eli and I got this puzzle put together with Grace running around us "trying to help".  We were both really excited and I had to take a picture.

Finally, time for Miss Grace to take a nap.   This gives Eli and I a chance to pull out a board game.

And, after 3 loads of laundry and some dishes it's time to head to the school to pick up the big boys.   Today we decided to drive because we were running late.

All four kiddos piled in the front seat.   This way there are no arguments over who sits in the front.   They all do!

And, tonight is soccer night.   Eli LOVES his little soccer class.   He finally gets to play instead of watching his big brothers all the time.  He is so proud!
